Lagalb:

the snow sports mountain

Steep slopes, plenty of nature, peace and quiet, and two great restaurants: Lagalb will take you back to the good old days.

Lagalb, which is on the Bernina pass near Diavolezza, is a mountain for connoisseurs. It’s a little smaller than the main skiing areas in Upper Engadin and a little harder to get to, but it’s certainly worth a visit. The black slope is the stuff adventurer’s dreams are made of. The steepest slope here has a gradient of 86 degrees. It is the steepest groomed slope in the canton of Graubünden. The La Rösa firn snow run is also very popular – including with the locals. If you’re looking to treat yourself to something tasty, you can head to the mountain station restaurant or the valley station restaurant.
The ever-popular Lagalb mountain even has its own club! To become a member of the legendary Club 8848, all you have to do is go down the Lagalb run 11 times and complete the footpath between the mountain station and Piz Lagalb four times.
